A NEW charity shop raising money for abandoned cats has opened in Risinghurst.
Four Paws Cat Rescue’s new store on The Roundway will help fund the charity’s Wheatley cattery.
Charity founder Julie Jones said: “The money we make will all go to cat rescue in Oxford and the surrounding villages.
“Every penny will go to the animals.
“The number of abandoned cats is a dreadful problem. In the current economic climate, we are finding people cannot afford to look after them any more.”
