AMATEUR dramatic group All and Sundry launched the ticket sales of their new pantomime - King Arthur - on Monday.

The panto, which is being directed by professional director Neale McGrath, will be performed in the Spadesbourne Suite Theatre in Bromsgrove.

But next year they should be in the Artrix, the state-of-the-art centre being built on School Drive, with seating for around 300 people.

The group, which already numbers 35, has teamed up with the Stage Door Dance Academy and principal Martina Ponsonby will choreograph the show.

Spokesman for the group, Paul Vollans, said: "We have been given our first dates in the new venue - the week commencing May 30, 2005, and at that time we are hoping to perform a musical, subject to licence availability, this is likely to be Oliver or Guys and Dolls."

He added: "Later in 2005, again at the Artrix, we are hoping to perform the play The Corn is Green.

"We are an ambitious and developing group, keen to welcome new members.

"In addition to mainstream productions, we have an active social programme and also undertake workshops to help develop individual skills."

In July 2005, in the Rowney Green Peace Hall, the youth members of All & Sundry will be putting on a show of their own details will feature in the Advertiser/Messenger and will be announced later.

Paul said: "We are always looking for new members, and would love to hear from anybody interested in theatre.

"Whether you are a great performer or not, we would like to hear from you - in addition to main acting roles, there are lots of ways in which anybody can help with productions!

"We are a great group to be part of - one of our stated objectives is to have fun - so why not join us?"

The shows will be performed at the Spadesbourne Suite on November 18, 19 and 20.
