Petition to save 'family lifeline' service

7:30am Thursday 4th April 2013

By Helen Barnett

PARENTS are joining forces to try and save a vital family lifeline.

BEST (Behaviour and Emotional Support Team) will shut down at the end of the summer after losing a funding battle.

The service helps Harwich families with children who suffer behaviour problems and provides a place to go and meet others in similar situations.

Marie Lawrence-Gunnell has written to Bernard Jenkin, MP for Harwich and North Essex, for his advice, and parents will be collecting signatures at the schools to rally support.

To get involved join the Facebook group Save the B.E.S.T Team.
