Decision to be made on Highbridge Recycling Centre

HIGHBRIDGE Recycling Centre could close or have its opening hours reduced as Somerset County Council looks to save more than £2.5million from its waste budget over the next three years.

The centre in the Isleport Business Park is one of eight facing the axe countywide.

Somerset County Council said a decision on which of its 18 centres would be closed could be made at next Monday's cabinet meeting.
