ELECTION: Hung parliament confirmed

BRITAIN has a hung Parliament after no party was able to win a majority in the most tightly fought General Election in a generation.

With 36 seats still to be counted, David Cameron's Conservatives had secured 289 MPs, making it impossible for them to reach the 326 threshold for an overall majority.

The results have triggered the beginning of behind-the-scenes talks, which may stretch into the weekend and beyond, as the parties struggle to form a viable administration.

Give the poodle a little bone to keep him happy, and carry on as before Mr Prime Minister. The people have rejected the uncaring Tories as unfit to rule, so carry on with the good work.

I personally think that Labour government with a hint of the Lib Dem policies thrown into the mix will be a good thing. People are too quick to slate and put Gordon Brown down, forgetting that without him your houses wouldn't have doubled in value and we'd have ended up like Greece has after the GLOBAL recession, which was not any single persons fault or control.Think about what happened in the 80's under Thatcher, 3-day weeks, power cuts, strikes, massive inflation and unemployment etc etc. It destroyed the economy and british industry. We're still paying for the consequences now!

Dread to think what would have happen if David Cameron had got in, I might have been forced to take a job to pay for the booze, fags and drugs, much better under Gordon living on the state!

I'm a Tory and I care mate. I care that our country has been oppressed by these vile greedy socialist swine for 13 years and the electorate hasn't had the bottle to show them the door. So don't call me uncaring

I personally do not think we should have a re-election, just think what that would cost us and we do not have the money in the current state of affairs. "Come on, Yer Maj - sort it out!" Maybe let those who could not vote, vote.
