UPDATE: Roads still hit by floods

By The Page Turner
A number of roads across Oxfordshire are still blocked this morning following yesterday's flash flooding.
The A329 in Milton Common is blocked both ways near junction seven of the M40, while the A338 has reopened after being closed both ways between the A415 Frilford Road junction and the Grove Park Drive junction in East Hanney.
The Finmere road to Bicester is closed due to flooding and Lechlade Road in Faringdon is closed both ways.
The M40 at junction 10 and the A4130 at Milton near Didcot are also running slow.
Flood water has also caused a metre-wide hole in the road on the A415 close to Cokethorpe School near Witney.
The River Ray and its tributaries from Shipton Lee to Islip remain on an Environment Agency Flood Watch after almost a month's average rainfall for Oxfordshire fell in one day, while Oxfordshire's other rivers remain on Flood Warning.
