OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

KAMIL BANASIK, 31, of North Weston, Thame admitted drink-driving in the A40, Wheatley on October 22. Had 48mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £300. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

ROODSON BARBOSA, 34, of Morland Close, Wheatley was convicted of failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have committed an offence between June 9 and July 7. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.

SIMON MARK BARTLETT, 54, of Cratlands Close, Stadhampton was convicted of speeding at 40mph, exceeding the limit of 30mph in Woodstock Road, Oxford on April 5 and speeding at 35mph, exceeding the limit of 30mph in Botley Road, Oxford on April 18. He was fined £100 twice and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

Dr VICTORIA COX, 27, of Turl Street, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 38mph, exceeding the limit of 30mph in Woodstock Road, Oxford on April 9 and speeding at 36mph, exceeding the limit of 30mph in Rose Hill, Oxford on May 3. She was fined a total of £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

MARIA DELGADO, 37, of Vicarage Close, Chalgrove was convicted of speeding at 50mph, exceeding the limit of 30mph in A40 West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe on May 23. He was fined £184 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

MIHAEL FEDESCU, 42, of Swallow Close, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence between June 19 and July 17. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.

PHILIPPA HAMWEE, 41, of Manor Road, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence between June 7 and July 5. She was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.

MARIUS BLAJUT, 34, of Coniston Avenue, Oxford admitted drink-driving in Fern Hill Road, Oxford on October 4. Had 75mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months and fined £240 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

VIOREL BOTNARESCU, 44, of Banbury Road, Kidlington, admitted drink driving in Beaumont Street, Oxford on October 8. Had 98mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months and fined £440. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

CHARLOTTE PAULING, 30, of no fixed abode, was convicted of assaulting a woman at Oxford on August 9 as well as failing to surrender into custody at Oxford on September 26 and November 10 and being in breach of a previously imposed conditional discharge. She was jailed for two weeks for each offence to run concurrently.

TEMIDAYO FAMUYIWA, 35, of Sir Henry Close, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence by failing to attend an unpaid work requirement. He was fined £200 and must pay court costs of £30.

THOMAS BUTLER, 24, of Prescott Avenue, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage by damaging hospital ceiling panels at the disabled toilet of the Horton Hospital, Banbury valued at £570. He must pay compensation of £576 and court costs of £85.

STEVEN HUTCHINGS, 48, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted driving a vehicle on a public road without third party insurance at Aynho, Oxfordshire, on October 28. He was fined £400 and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with eight penalty points.

TREVOR GRANT, 39, of Appleby Close, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with a community order requirement by failing to attend a rehabilitation activity requirement and failing to keep in contact with a drug rehabilitation requirement. He was given a suspended prison sentence for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months.

JOSHUA HAMMOND-TIBERT, 18, of Lennox Gardens, Banbury, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Butchers Row, Banbury, on April 16. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and pay compensation of £2,250 as well as court costs of £85.

BENJAMIN WOODWORTH, 21, of White Way, Kidlington, admitted harassment without violence between June 6 and October 31 at Bucknell Road, Bicester by sending a number of messages to a woman. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 as well as obey a restraining order against his victim.

EPI MUAVESI, 36, of Kenley Avenue, Carterton, admitted assaulting a woman at Carterton on November 2. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

SAJID SHARIF, 47, of The White House, Shelley Close, Banbury, admitted assaulting a man at Lockheed Close, Banbury, on September 2. He was made subject to a community order to include 30 days in the Building Better Relationships programme as well as 25 days of a rehabilitation activity requirement. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £620.

CHRISTOPHER WALLACE, 32, of Lord Fielding Close, admitted assaulting a woman at Lord Fielding Close, on October 29. He was made subject to a community order to include 30 days in the Building Better Relationships programme as well as 25 days of a rehabilitation activity requirement. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.
