PUPILS at Woodstock Primary School built a nature trail in their school grounds in 1973 and discovered a piece of history – their study of a hedgerow suggested it could be 900 years old.
In the first picture, Karen Hillier, 11, and David Rodgers, nine, inspect a fossil stone they found on the trail.
Cookery was an important part of the curriculum at Marlborough School, Woodstock, in 1970. The second picture shows young bakers weighing out materials for bread making.
When the weather was good, there was nothing better than having a dip in the local pool. Youngsters are seen in the third picture splashing about when the sun shone in 1971.
