DANCERS took a step back in time to recreate their passion in Tudor times by hosting a workshop in 1981.
The Oxford Historical Dance Society recreated the courts of the Tudor kings and queens by taking part in a 16th century dance course.
Some 35 dancer took to the stage to perform and all dressed head-to-toe in tradition Tudor togs.
Performances were staged to the music of recorders, crumhorns and drums as they learned the steps of the pavane and galliard, popular at the main European courts.
The historic event was staged at the Wesley Memorial Hall in Oxford.
