KNEES up, Mother Brown!
Wearing bonnets, dresses and uniforms from 70 years before, members and officers of Oxford's Salvation Army Home League gathered around the piano for a sing-song.
The year was 1977 and the women were celebrating the 70th birthday of the home league, founded in 1907.
They met at Albion Place in Oxford to show a less formal and more fun side of the Sally Army.
The Oxford branch, which was only 65 years old itself at the time, decided to to mark the anniversary with a good old-fashioned sing-along at the Salvation Army Hall.
