Mailbag: Remembering ‘my Guides’
YOU have published another memory-jogging photograph!
The picture of Guides with Bob Harris at the John Radcliffe Hospital fete in 1982 (Memory Lane, June 6) is one I’d forgotten about.
The Guides are, left to right, Jenny Mundy, Nicola Barrett, Emma Higgs, Rachel Foster, Lisa Clare, Rebecca Adams (my daughter), Louise Clements and Claire Bunting. I can claim them to be ‘my Guides’ as I was Guide and District Commissioner for Marston and the girls were all from the Marston units.
I would love to know what they’re all doing now.
I love Memory Lane – it certainly brings back ‘old’ times. Keep up the good work!
