WOMEN’S Institutes have just completed a year of centenary celebrations, but this event marked the movement’s half century.
Members of Woodstock WI were enjoying a jubilee year harvest supper in 1965.
Their latest project at that time was a meals on wheels service for old people in the town. They had identified 20 deserving cases but were still looking for somewhere to cook the food.
