I CAME across this picture when looking through my late aunt’s photo collection and wonder if your readers can identify the people, time and place.

The chap holding the tankard is, I believe, my grandfather Ted Court, who lived in the village of Fritwell, near Bicester, from 1923 until he died in 1969.

Before moving to Fritwell, he lived in several other villages north of Oxford after coming from Redditch, Worcestershire – Hampton Gay, Elsfield, Weston-on-the-Green, Bletchingdon, Heyford and Somerton.

This photograph could have been taken in any one of them.

The three-wheeler in the picture has been identified as an AC Sociable, a model made from 1907 to 1914.
