PUPILS at John Mason School, Abingdon, took to the stage to perform an all-singing, all-dancing version of the Dr Barnardo story.
Carrots was a musical account of how the great 19th century philanthropist took in his first orphan and started a project that has since helped thousands of homeless youngsters.
Some of the end-of-term production’s cast, including Andy Smith, pictured front, in the title role, are seen at the dress rehearsal before two evening performances in 1983.
