I AM writing about the mystery photograph sent in by John Amor, of Kidlington Historical Society (Memory Lane, October 12).
It is a picture of the Kidlington beauty queen competition in the early 1950s.
I am the young lady on the right next to Mrs Wise. My name then was Shirley Faulkner, I was 15 or 16 and lived in High Street, Kidlington.
I cannot remember the names of the other girls.
