Mystery location: Peter Smith is asking for readers’ help identifying where this aerial photograph was taken
I AM giving a talk tomorrow on the First World War aerodrome at Port Meadow, Oxford, and plan to show a series of aerial photographs, one of which I have been unable to identify.
It was one of a number taken around the Oxford area in 1918 as part of the flying training curriculum. Would any reader know what this picture shows?
