SEVEN schools joined together to create a magazine containing the latest primary and secondary school news.
All Write, as the publication was called, ran to 96 pages, with a cover from children’s illustrator Quentin Blake.
It was a shared enterprise involving Benson, Brightwell, Cholsey, Fir Tree (Wallingford), St Laurence (Warborough) and St John’s (Wallingford) primary schools and Wallingford School.
Sarah Matthews, of the English department at Wallingford School, said: “The magazine includes writing across the age range from five to 18. It covers a variety of different writing, from the shortest of poems to highly sophisticated analyses and arguments.”
Pupils at Wallingford Lower School are pictured with the first edition of the magazine in 1990.
