Squash teams courting favour
THE annual squash match between Abingdon and the Oxfordshire county side ended in a 4-1 victory for the county in 1978.
But rivalry on the court was quickly forgotten as the players posed for this picture afterwards.
The county side, at the back was, pictured from left, Mike Johnson, Geoff Taylor and Tony Wheeler (all from Wallingford), Brian Taylor (Erratics) and Graham Barker (Thame). The Abingdon team in front were Bill Tooke, Tony Clarke, Roy Clampit, Derek Walton and Ian McDougall.
