Open for business: Robert Ansell taking down the sign in 1982
I was interested to see a picture of Robert Ansell, of the Jersey Arms at Middleton Stoney, removing the Closed on Sundays sign (Memory Lane, May 18).
I have in my possession a log book for a car I used to own, an Austin Metropolitan made in 1961, and Robert Ansell, of the Jersey Arms, was the first owner.
