Young dancers were rewarded with a crop of medals and certificates when they passed their exams.
They were members of the Arnside School of Dance run by teacher Elaine Green in the village hall in Bletchingdon, near Bicester.
Twenty-five pupils, from Bletchingdon and neighbouring villages, were successful in theatre dance exams organised by the International Dance Teachers’ Association in 1986.
Tap dance awards went to Emma Davis, Claire Fitzgerald, Lisa Fitzgerald, Mandy Gordon, Simon Green, Katy Hubble, Katy Jordan, Amanda Salter, Victoria Smith, Claire Wheeler and Rachael Wing.
Ballet awards went to Jenny Allen, Joanna Crofts, Teresa Francis, Kate Hessian, Felicity Honey, Eleanor Lawton, Lisa O’Brien, Katie Parker, Rebecca Stafford-Allen, Natalie Stockton and Lorraine Wing.
