These women took a step back in time to show fashions from a bygone age.
Members of the North Oxford Townswomen’s Guild took part in a parade of costumes ‘through the ages’ in February 1956.
The show was put on for the benefit of members of South Oxford Conservative Club.
We don’t know the names of any of the models or whether they made the clothes themselves. Perhaps someone can tell us.
