I was interested to see your stories about the Pressed Steel 25 Year Club (Memory Lane, January 12 and March 2).

My father, Roland Robinson – nicknamed Tiny as he was quite a big man – joined the club in 1961.

He was a senior foreman in the trim shop and worked at the factory from 1936 to the 1970s when he retired.

While working there, he lived in Oliver Road, Cowley; Slade Camp at Headington, and then Palmer Road at Wood Farm.

I have my father’s watch and I wonder if any readers have a photograph of the presentation at the Randolph Hotel in 1962.

I don’t remember him going, but he must have done.
