In, I think, the late 1950s, my sister, Judy Seymour, born in 1939, had her portrait painted by an artist under the name ‘Stranger’ who, I believe, lived in the Iffley Road area of Oxford.

At that time, we were living in the police houses on Cumnor Hill, where my father was a police sergeant.

My sister and her family are all now deceased and I have the portrait. If wondered if there were any descendants of the family I could pass it to. I think it is a lovely portrait as I remember her in our younger days. It measures 24in by 28in.

I hope to find a member of the family who would like to take care of her!
