TWO more names have been added to the picture of Pressed Steel cricket team on tour in the New Forest in about 1961, sent in by Gwyn Morgan, of Didcot (Memory Lane, September 29).
Reader David Pearse has supplied the name of John Ponting, with whom he worked in the body drawing office. Meanwhile, Derek Newell writes to say the player named as Jeff Hibbert was actually Jeff Hibbins.
So the line-up as it now stands runs: Back row, left to right: ?, Vere Harwood, Peter Stone, Peter Gordon, Bill Bradley, Mick Ball, Les Goodchild, Jack Lambourn.
Middle row: Laurie Spencer, Albert ?, Wilf Bennett, John Ponting, Frank Francis.
Front row: Jeff Hibbins, Gwyn Morgan, Brian Stout, Charlie Spicer, Bob Richmond.
