A police car manned by WPc Sue Rayfield was one of the attractions at the village school’s spring fair in 1984 – and two-year-old Sarah Williams was among the visitors. Former Oxford United goalkeeper Roy Burton, a former pupil, opened the event and took part in a beat-the-goalie competition.
