The changing face of: Bicester
Pupils at Glory Farm School spent a term learning about Africa in 1981, then put their models and other work they had done on display so that other schools in the town could benefit.
Children from Longfields Primary School put on their wellies and waterproofs to plant daffodils, tulips and crocuses to brighten the town in 1984. Zoe Vickery, left, and Emma O’Sullivan, both 10, are pictured inspecting the bulbs.
Bicester Music School, held at Bicester Community College, attracted a large number of budding musicians every Saturday morning. A strong base line was provided by cellists Emma Stonell, Paul Edwards and Honwae Wong in 1988.
