Pupils at Glory Farm School spent a term learning about Africa in 1981, then put their models and other work they had done on display so that other schools in the town could benefit.

Bicester Music School, held at Bicester Community College, attracted a large number of budding musicians every Saturday morning. A strong base line was provided by cellists Emma Stonell, Paul Edwards and Honwae Wong in 1988.
