CAN anyone name these footballers?

The picture was found in an album belonging to John Couch, of Riverside Gardens, Mill Street, Witney, who died in October last year.

The only information we have is that it shows ‘Woolworth’s Ladies’ football team’.

We understand that Mr Couch’s wife, Vera, who died seven years ago, ran the team, attending matches every weekend they played.

Can anyone tell us more about the team?
