Pinning the names on the darts team
I CAN name three of the ladies’ darts team at the Old Gate House pub in Botley Road, Oxford (Memory Lane, January 27).
Third from the left is my late mum, Anne Clarke, the lady throwing the dart is Mavis Gibbons and next to her is Mrs Payne.
I remember going to the Old Gate House as a child drinking Pepsi and having a go on the swing. Sadly, the Old Gate House name has gone, but I have fond memories of those days.
