I ENCLOSE another picture from my box of bits and pieces.
This photograph was taken when Wheatley School went to Switzerland in 1956. I did not go – my mum wouldn’t pay for the trip as I was already too much of a drain on the household budget with Scout camps.
But the girl in the front row, second from right, Norma Morris, later became my wife.
The lad in the check shirt I later served with in the police.
Others in the picture are scattered far and wide in the world and I have contact with some. Others I have no idea what they went on to be.
