BURGLARY suspect Daniel Collins is thought to have broken into two Cowley homes last month.

And as a result he is now the face behind door number 13 in our Christmas criminal calendar.

The Oxford Mail and Thames Valley Police are revealing the face of a criminal suspect every day in the run-up to Christmas.

It is hoped readers will come forward with crucial information to help police track the suspects down and bring them to justice.

Today police are appealing to the public for information about 25-year-old Collins who they want to speak to about two household burglaries in the Temple Cowley area last month.

The offences happened on November 21 and 22.

Tobacco, alcohol, and an unknown value of electronic equipment, was stolen in the first burglary, but nothing was stolen in the second crime.

Police declined to give any more information.

Police described Mr Collins of Rose Hill, Oxford, as white, 5ft 5ins tall and of a slim build.

They said he is from the Oxford area and they believe he is still in the city.

And last night investigating officer Pc Matthew Hodgetts asked the public to keep and eye out for the suspected burglar.

He said: “We urge anyone with information about Mr Collins’ whereabouts to get in touch and let us know. It would make an excellent Christmas present for Oxford CID to see him tracked down to face justice for these crimes he is thought to have done.”

Anyone with information should call Pc Hodgetts on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org The faces of three women and 10 men have been published in our Badvent calendar since December 1.

So far, day 10 suspect Andre Berley has been arrested over an assault in Blackbird Leys in October.
