A man pretended to work for the ‘water board’ to get into an 84-year-old woman’s home and steal jewellery.

The crime happened in Banbury Road on Friday, October 12, between 3pm and 3.30pm.

The burglar, who was wearing a dark coat and hat, is white, aged between 30 and 40, about 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, and has short dark hair. Call 101 with information.
