Woman rescued after car crash

A WOMAN was freed by firefighters from her car following a crash at around 8.30am this morning.

The incident happened on the B4011 at Blackthorn, near Bicester.

South Central Ambulance Service was called out to reports of a car that had spun out of control and ended up in a ditch. Only one vehicle was involved.

The 29-year-old woman was taken to Horton hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two fire engines from Bicester attended with the rescue tender from Kidlington and the defence fire service.
