Didcot station work near end
11:20am Tuesday 2nd October 2012 in News
Work to redraw car parking spaces at a Didcot Parkway car park is almost complete.
First Great Western agreed to carry out the work at the Foxhall Road car park after drivers complained last year that they were being ticketed for parking outside marked lines.
Station operator First Great Western manages the car park, and spokesman Dan Panes said: “There were 1,090 spaces and now there are just over 1,000 after about 40 spaces were made slightly larger.
“This work will be completed very soon.”

It seems that FGW has gone off the rails by losing 90 spaces or nearly 10% of potential revenue. Guess that the ticketer will now make no exceptions and claims for refunds will be unsuccessful.
Guess that is small beer to having to rebid for West Coastline - or rather sheepishly saved for their 'boastful' bid
