ONE of the seven British tourists who died in a Nepal plane crash was an Oxford University graduate.
Former law student Benjamin Ogden, 27, was killed yesterday when the plane crashed down into a field near the capital Kathmandu at 6.15am local time.
Six other British men were also killed - mountaineer Timothy Oakes, 57, Raymond Eagle, 58, Christopher Davey, 51, Vincent Kelly, 50, Darren Kelly, 45, and Stephen Holding, 60.
The British group, who arrived in Nepal on Wednesday, were due to begin trekking in the Himalayas yesterday.
They were travelling with Hampshire-based travel company Explore Worldwide.
Five Chinese people, three Nepalese passengers and four crew members were also killed, with reports suggesting the accident was caused by a bird strike.
