Doctor remembered thanks to new £190k post

A £190,000 post in memory of an Oxford doctor has been created.

The British Kidney Patient Association (BKPA) and Kidney Research UK are collaborating to establish a new post at the UK Renal Registry, focusing on the collection of data on young kidney patients, in memory of Dr Tony Wing, who had a leading role in developing kidney units around the UK.

It is due to be announced today at Trinity College, Oxford.
