Man charged with jewellers robbery

BANBURY: A 23-year-old man appeared at Banbury Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with a robbery at Michael Jones Jewellers in High Street on Tuesday morning.
Jimmy Stringer, of Popham Street, London, was remanded in custody and will appear at Oxford Crown Court on Monday.
A 25-year-old Banbury man and 20-year-old man from London were also arrested on suspicion of robbery and were bailed until October 21.
A 21-year-old Essex man arrested on suspicion of robbery and of supplying drugs has been bailed until October 21.
