ADDERBURY enjoyed some belated Olympic fun with a day of events inspired by the London 2012 Games.

The day of activities like rounders and netball was planned for The Green to coincide with The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June but was postponed because of the bad weather.

Organiser Stephanie Lea said of Sunday’s event: “It tuned in with the Olympic theme of inspiring a younger generation.”
