Appeal for stolen bike
Thieves stole a £1,000 bike, pictured above, from outside a gym.
The Carrera Banshee mountain bike was taken from energie Banbury in Middleton Road between 6.15pm and 7.20pm on Tuesday.
Owner Yasser Malik said he was planning on using it in a charity ride, adding: “It was a very unique custom one-off mountain bike which had my name on it. A lot of time and effort went into making the bike what it is.”
Anyone with information should contact Thames Valley Police on 101.

There’s a professional gang going round the county stealing bikes.
They wait in car parks (for the owners to lock them up and walk away) then cut through bike locks and are gone in seconds.
It’s happening here in Bicester too.
Not that it really matters.
During April I broke the combination lock on my push bike, also costing £1000, whilst popping through Oxford City Centre, outside TigerLilly / Argos area, locked to a bicycle stand.
Out of options, I searched through my bag for my tool kit and used a large screw driver to dismantle and prise the lock apart. Numerous people gave me sideways looks, and I'm sure that area will be covered by CCTV. No one said a thing, took me about 15 minutes to remove it and ride away.
