The Met Office issued an amber warning for heavy rain in Oxfordshire yesterday afternoon including the possibility of flash flooding.
The Met Office website said: “The public should be aware that given saturated ground across many parts, localised flooding and disruption may result.”
Met Office spokesman Dan Williams added that there could be more heavy rain today, with the possibility of 30mm falling in three hours.
But tomorrow, the weather will stay mainly dry, with sunshine, light showers and maximum temperatures of 19C.
