It was uplifting

LAST Thursday I attended the Lifford Hall for the Broadway Music Makers Celebration Jubilee Concert.

It was to raise money for the Evesham Sea Cadets and Mencap. What a superb evening it was. The sea cadets were there, very smart, polite, pleasant – a credit to our young people.

Their contribution on the stage showed us the discipline skills they have gained. I have to say it was brilliant and brought a lump to my throat! The organisers and the entertainers were superb and we were “royally”

treated to a memorable show. My sincere congratulations to them all and my appreciation for all the hard work that such a show must have meant.

There is much bad in the world today, but this was something really good.

A truly uplifting experience. Thank you one and all. I hope you raised lots of money.
