OXFORD: A camp outside Oxford Brookes University has been packed up just over a month after being set up.
Protesters set up outside the university’s Gipsy Lane campus on April 18 over concerns about fee waivers and bursary arrangements.
Calling themselves Occupy Brookes, they had pledged to camp out for as long as it took, but dismantled the 10 tents on Sunday following a meeting with university leaders that protesters described as “thoroughly unsatisfactory”.
