Blaze factory staff go back

ENSTONE: Staff caught in a blaze at a plastics factory were back at work yesterday.

A 55-year-old man was trapped in part of the plant at the Enstone Airfield industrial estate when the fire broke out at 8pm on Friday and was rescued before firefighters arrived.

Managing director Chris Whiteley said: “Staff involved in the blaze are back at work and 85 per cent of the factory is now operational. No one has suffered any long-term injuries and we are trying to get back to normal.”
