Sisters Frida, Rose and Betty Jenns were hopping for joy after scooping first prize for their bunny costumes at Summertown’s annual animal parade on Saturday.
The Animal Boogie parade saw about 15 children make their way in costume from the North Wall Arts Centre in South Parade to Barefoot Books in Banbury Road.
Twins Frida and Rose, four, above, front, and their sister Betty, two, were taken by grandmother Judith Glanville, 66. She said: “It was a fantastic spectacle – the children stopped the traffic. It’s a lovely tradition.”
Two-year-old Georgia Wright hitched a ride on mother Kirsten shoulders, right.
The event is part of this month’s Oxfordshire Artweeks celebration of arts and crafts across the county.
