ILMINSTER is preparing for a big bake-off as part of the town's festivities to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
During the Big Lunch on Sunday, June 3, organisers plan to display 60 cakes and hold a competition for the best decorated before auctioning them off.
Several town businesses plan to enter with Clinton Bonner planning a 'cheese cake' and Angie Blackwell of Cottage Flowers planning a 'flower cake'.
