to those saying "catch real criminals"...if you were sat in that queue and you saw people going past you in the bus lane, trust me you'd be praying for a copper to turn up and catch them. As well as shouting profanities.
I'd be thinking maybe I should have done that would have got there quicker oh well silly me. Let's fine them - well done TVP you got some brownie points for upsetting a few people cause other road users get jealous. Mind you jealousy can lead to more serious things - bet TVP wouldn't catch people then!
Correct. It just alienates us. and when we see a real crime, well TVP can go and swim, and do their own work, they get nothing from me, or others persecuted by them."

TWENTY drivers have been fined today for trying to jump traffic queues on the Botley Road by using the Seacourt park and ride lane.

Pc Glenn MacRae and Pc Steve Higa were out for an hour and a half stopping and fining motorists £30.

To avoid the queues heading into the city, some drivers use the park and ride lane into Seacourt, spin around roundabout and then rejoin the Botley Road traffic.

Pc Higa said: “Excuses included ‘I’m doing it to ease the traffic’ and ‘I’ve gone to pick my daughter up at the bus stop, but she’s not there’.

“We could have given more out if we’d had the resources.”
