Three car crash leads to heavy delays on A34

THERE are severe delays on the A34 tonight between Abingdon and Oxford following a three-car crash.
One lane is closed on the northbound carriageway but there are reports that it is taking 60 minutes to travel from the Abingdon North junction up to Hinksey Hill.
The crash happened at about 4.20pm. A child has been taken to the Horton Hospital in Banbury with injuries thought to be not life-threatening, said a ambulance spokesman.
