A MAN was attacked with a baseball bat while cycling through an Oxford subway.
The 47-year-old man was assaulted at around 7.15pm on Tuesday in the subway connecting Barton and Northway.
As he passed two men, he was hit in the face with the wooden bat, giving him a swollen nose and a cut lip which he received medical attention for.
Nothing was stolen in the attack.
Both suspects are white, around 17 to 18-years-old, and about 5ft 7ins.
PC Ben Simmons, who is investigating the assault, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who saw the men in the subway prior to the attack, or who saw them running towards Barton or through Barton between 7.15pm and 7.30pm.”
