CHILDREN have been searching gardens near Wheatley for hidden Easter bunnies.

Ten wire mesh rabbits have been hidden around Waterperry Gardens for families to find and win chocolate Easter eggs.

Anna Haynes, 32, and her two-year-old daughter Ellie, visited the gardens and successfully found the rabbits.

Mrs Haynes, of Southmoor, said: “It was really nice. Ellie really enjoyed it and we had a good time running around.

“We went last year and enjoyed it and thought Ellie would really enjoy it this year now she understands about Easter.”

She added: “Waterperry is not massively a family place but this encourages the whole family to take part.”

Ellie said she had enjoyed hunting for the rabbits, adding: “I want to go again next year.”

The Big Easter Bunny Hunt runs until Sunday and costs £2 per child. Call 01844 339254 or visit waterperrygardens.co.uk
