Motorist hurt in crash; Lower Road closed

A DRIVER has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with after a car rolled in a crash near Church Hanborough.

The accident happened at about 12.45pm and has shut Lower Road, between Eynsham and Church Hanborough, in both directions.

It is unlikely the road will reopen until this evening, according to the emergency services.

An air ambulance attended the scene along with the fire service and the police but was not needed. The driver, suffering head and arm injuries, was taken to the Oxford hospital in a conventional road ambulance.
