Plans to convert an Oxfordshire golf centre into a caravan park have been approved.
Investfront Ltd applied to Cherwell District Council to create a holiday park at Heathfield Golf Centre, Heathfield, near Bicester.
Plans include spaces for up to 150 touring caravans, an office, shop, store, launderette, kitchen, toilets, showers and washing facilities, and a static mobile home for the site manager.
The site has the A34 on one side and fields on the other, and Heathfield Nursing Home and pub and restaurant The Oxfordshire Inn nearby.
An earth bank is also proposed on the south east boundary to shield the caravan park from the A34.
Planners received letters from 13 objectors, including Bletchingdon Parish Council, saying there were other caravan sites in the area, that there would be an impact on the local area and wildlife, and that the site would be noisy.
Two letters supporting the application said it would provide employment and support the local economy.
